Privacy policy
This policy explains the information used to deliver Casa Ordenada and how optional Google Analytics measurement works. Reading our guides does not require accepting analytics.
Information you provide
The site does not require a reader account and does not provide purchases, comments, contact forms or newsletter registration. We do not ask readers to submit names, email addresses or payment details through this site.
Your analytics choice
Google Analytics 4 stays off until you select “Accept analytics.” Rejecting analytics does not restrict access to any guide. Before acceptance, our analytics code does not load Google's measurement tag or send analytics requests, including cookieless measurement pings.
Your accepted or rejected choice is saved in local browser storage and a first-party preference cookie for up to 180 days, when your browser permits storage. This preference is used to remember your decision, not to measure visits. If storage is blocked or cleared, or the choice expires, you may be asked again.
You can reopen the choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Selecting “Reject analytics” stops future measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies set for this site. If measurement was already active, the page reloads to remove the loaded measurement code. Withdrawal does not automatically delete data Google has already processed.
What optional analytics measures
After acceptance, Google Analytics helps us understand page visits, time with a page active, whether readers reach the end of a guide, navigation between guides or their sections, and clicks on external links. Google may process browser and device information, approximate location and online identifiers associated with these events; measurement requests also involve network information such as an IP address.
We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, form contents or other identifying information as analytics event parameters. Our page-view implementation excludes URL query strings and fragments from page locations and referrers. Google also provides email-data redaction in the measurement service.
This setup does not use Google Ads, Google Signals or advertising-personalization features. Form interactions, internal search, embedded-video tracking and file-download tracking are disabled. Analytics cannot directly tell us that you saved a guide in your bookmarks or that you completed a purchase on another site.
Google processes Analytics data under its applicable service and data-processing terms. For more information, see Google Analytics data safeguards and Google's privacy policy. Browser blocking tools and rejected consent can limit the visits represented in our reports.
Local tools and storage
Where a guide provides a local tool that saves checked items or inputs, those values are kept in your browser, not in a Casa Ordenada reader account. They are not included in our analytics event parameters. Any reset option provided by that tool, or your browser's site-data controls, can remove its saved values.
Technical server information
Our hosting and delivery providers may process standard request and security logs, such as IP address, requested URL, time, browser, referrer and errors. These support delivery, security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting and are subject to the providers' policies and retention practices. The site serves its typefaces locally; it does not request Google Fonts when a page loads.
Advertising and affiliate links
The current release does not include active Amazon affiliate links, an advertising network or newsletter tracking. We will update this policy and the relevant notices before changing those data practices.
Sharing and updates
Casa Ordenada does not sell personal information. Information may be processed by the providers needed to host, deliver and, when accepted, measure the site, or disclosed when required by applicable law. We will update this policy when our actual data practices change.
